Everyone had fun
Each group had to do a skit or songwe did "The Ugly Man"
this is where each kea or cub go and look under the blanket at the young man. Its like at a fairground event. I think the cub leader had as much fun announcing the attraction and taking the "pretend money" as the cubs and keas did. The ugly man is so ugly they all faint as they view him. Until the last person, who it turns out must be uglier than the ugly man himself as the ugly man ends up fainting.

I have to say although it was a fun night just personally I was challenged before I even got there. Tonight was very rainy. I dont like to drive in the rain and dark. I got lost getting there. Each year it is held at the groups hall whom won a shield the year before. I had to go to the next city (about 20 mins in good conditions). I was very glad I had my cellphone and was able to ring and text a friend and she gave me directions when I got lost. So not only was it dark and rainy but also because I dont have my gps anymore I got lost. About 10 minutes after I got there my friend also made sure Id arrived :) bless her :)

Lastly I have to say I handled this really well I feel. There would have been a time when I would have gone to pieces because of this challenge :)
