My Journal - week ending 1st November

Saturday

This morning i had to work at the holiday house.  I dropped Sarah and Billy off at Haumoana Zoo 
After Id finished and made a picnic dinner for later I went out to the kids.  We went out to Ocean Beach where we played in the sand and swam :)






 then we went for a drive in the country


ending up in Waipawa  for dinner at the Nelly Jull Park





and Waipukurua on top of Pukeora Scenic Road before calling it a day and heading for home




Sunday
A quieter day today went shopping with Sarah after church.  I brought her a gift voucher for her recent 21st :)  

Monday - Labour Day Holiday

Today we went out for a picnic lunch and short walk by the river.

Then we headed over to Anderson Park to look at the ducks.  Billy had fallen asleep in the car after a late night

Then we spied a gypsy fair.   I quite liked their vans 




Im not into Tarrot reading but I liked this set up, they way they use their awnings kinda me reminded me of scouting too with the pot on the tripod


 Then we went over to Arataki Honey

After cooking dinner (but not eating it yet) Sarah and I went out to deliever my Homecare catalogues.  I quite like company sometime when I walk it motivates me.  I dont know that I would join a walking club again but I do like the company sometimes :)  

Tuesday

Worked this morning at the holiday house
Then picked Daniel up form school so he could come to the airport
quickly helped Sarah pack and off she went

After that the boys and I went to the library where we saw this


Wednesday

This afternoon after school I took the boys to Anderson Park.  









 




 think shewas nesting there was no moving her






Thursday

At Keas we had a fish and chip night :)  

Friday
a busy day which was difficult as I had insomnia in the middle of the night last night.

  1. wow that's a big beach. Did your daughter come down for a visit? I think Daniel might be into riding his bike on there when he's older too.
