My Journal - week ending 22nd November

the highlights of this week both included my Keas :)

On Saturday all the Keas in the Waiapu Zone (Hastings, Npier and Gisborne) went out to Weka.  I LOVE that place apart from the bridge

each kea group where in charge of an activity I was in charge of collecting pine cones which in turn get sold and raise $$ so more accommodation and the like can be raised

hes part of Rover scouts and they made sure the Keas didnt float away down stream :)

 On Thursday night I took my Keas to Ahuriri for a bike/scooter ride and then play at the play ground there.  Again Billy helped :)  Daniel also got to come along although hes a cub he comes on Kea nights too - hes my son after all :)

  

My Journal - week ending 15th November

the highlight of this week has been when I took Daniel and his friend from school to Sk8 Zone 
I had promised Daniel wed go there but the man who owes it waas away last week
So we went on Wednesday after school and although it was very quite the boys had heaps of fun :)

Daniel reckoned being up here would have freaked me out lol - I dont do heights

Saturday

Today I did an hour in the morning volunteering, came home cleaned up house and then in the afternoon went back and did another hour :)

 Sunday

After church this morning I went and brought some new sneakers :)  

Monday

Did a big day of work both the holiday house and homecare

a quiet day

Wednesday
attended the womans bible study at church

Thursday
Daniels birthday

so happy his big sisters parcel arrived first thing this morning 

As is the norm for my kids as they are growing up I allow them to have the day off school on their birthday.  While Billy was with his reader/writer studying Daniel and I went to Anderson Park so that Daniel could ride on his scooter that he got from me :)

he also practised using his new bat and ball from Billy - all while wearing his helmet from him too lol 

when he hits the ball he has a strong batting arm - this where the ball ended up (he wanted me to take this shot)

After lunch we went to the Sunken Gardens in town too :)  We  also went to Opossum World (only I didnt get any photos)

At 315 pm a friend came over for a couple of hours to play :)  We were going to all go to Skate zone however its been closed this week due to rain - well go next week instead 

Billy kindly let them watch a movie on his laptop

My Journal - week ending 1st November

Saturday

This morning i had to work at the holiday house.  I dropped Sarah and Billy off at Haumoana Zoo 
After Id finished and made a picnic dinner for later I went out to the kids.  We went out to Ocean Beach where we played in the sand and swam :)

 then we went for a drive in the country

ending up in Waipawa  for dinner at the Nelly Jull Park

and Waipukurua on top of Pukeora Scenic Road before calling it a day and heading for home

Sunday
A quieter day today went shopping with Sarah after church.  I brought her a gift voucher for her recent 21st :)  

Monday - Labour Day Holiday

Today we went out for a picnic lunch and short walk by the river.

Then we headed over to Anderson Park to look at the ducks.  Billy had fallen asleep in the car after a late night

Then we spied a gypsy fair.   I quite liked their vans 

Im not into Tarrot reading but I liked this set up, they way they use their awnings kinda me reminded me of scouting too with the pot on the tripod

 Then we went over to Arataki Honey

After cooking dinner (but not eating it yet) Sarah and I went out to deliever my Homecare catalogues.  I quite like company sometime when I walk it motivates me.  I dont know that I would join a walking club again but I do like the company sometimes :)  

Tuesday

Worked this morning at the holiday house
Then picked Daniel up form school so he could come to the airport
quickly helped Sarah pack and off she went

After that the boys and I went to the library where we saw this

Wednesday

This afternoon after school I took the boys to Anderson Park.

Thursday

At Keas we had a fish and chip night :)  

Friday
a busy day which was difficult as I had insomnia in the middle of the night last night.
